In celebration of Cardiff Science Festival, join us this half term at our free family event.
Being a scientist can mean so many different things. We want to give you a flavour of what different scientists do and how science impacts our everyday lives.
We’ve planned lots of interactive activities and interesting experiments designed mainly for ages 7+ for you to experience what being a Scientist is really like. We’ve got magnetic motors, electrical engineering, snot shops and tinkering with viruses – even sciences you may have never heard of. All of our activities are hands-on and there’s plenty to try!
We’re excited to introduce some brilliant minds from across the University and some friendly local science-based businesses who are sure to spark your imagination!
Limited pay and display parking is available on surrounding roads or park up at the museum and make a day of it! Travelling by Cardiff Bus, you can find us on bus routes 23, 24, 27.
sbarc / spark building is accessible and all activities will take place on the ground floor. If you have any specific accessibility requirements, please get in touch – [email protected].
Capacity at the morning session will be reduced for the benefit of neurodiverse attendees or those with additional learning needs.
We can’t wait to meet some future scientists – see you there!
