The National Academy for Educational Leadership (Leadership Academy) was established in 2018, under the Companies Act 2006. As an arm’s length body, its primary role is to fulfil its responsibilities set within the context of the Welsh Government’s strategic aims.

We are an independent body focused on publicly funded qualifications, including GCSEs, A levels and vocational qualifications.
Place2Be is a children’s mental health charity with over 25 years’ experience working with pupils, families and staff in UK schools. We provide mental health support in schools through one-to-one and group counselling using tried and tested methods backed by research. We also offer expert training and professional qualifications.
