Free Governor Briefing: Education Workforce Council – 7 October 2026

We are delighted to invite governors to join us for a special virtual session with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) on Wednesday 7 October 2026, from 5.30pm – 7.00pm via Zoom.

This informative session will provide governors with a valuable opportunity to learn more about the important role of the EWC. The session will cover:

• The role and work of the Education Workforce Council;
• The Code of Professional Conduct and Practice;
• Social media issues;
• Safeguarding;

and to understand where your responsibilities as governors sit within this.

This is a great opportunity to strengthen your understanding and ensure you are well informed about these areas.
